Covenant
A covenant is a binding relationship God establishes with people by promise. Scripture traces covenants with Noah, Abraham, Israel at Sinai, and David, and the prophets foretell a new covenant that Jesus inaugurates with His blood at the Last Supper.

Faith
Faith in Scripture is trust that takes God at His word and acts on it. Abraham believed the promise and it was credited to him as righteousness; in the Gospels Jesus repeatedly answers faith with healing, rebukes its absence in a storm, and calls people to believe in Him for eternal life.

Passover
Passover is the yearly feast that remembers the night God struck Egypt and passed over the houses marked with a lamb's blood, then brought Israel out of slavery. The lamb without blemish, the blood on the doorframe, and the meal eaten in haste became Israel's founding memory. Jesus chose Passover for His last supper and died at Passover, and the New Testament calls Him our Passover lamb.

Promise and fulfillment
Promise and fulfillment is the pattern by which the New Testament reads the Old: God speaks in advance through prophets, patterns, and covenants, and the Gospels show those words coming true in Jesus. FaithGraph labels each such link by the kind of evidence behind it.

Repentance
Repentance is turning from sin back to God, a change of mind that shows itself in a changed life. The prophets called Israel to it, John the Baptist demanded fruit in keeping with it, and Jesus opened His ministry with the call to repent and believe the good news.

Resurrection
Resurrection is God raising the dead to bodily life. The Old Testament glimpses it in Job, the Psalms, Isaiah, and Daniel; the Gospels narrate the raising of Jesus on the third day; and Paul calls Him the firstfruits, the first of a harvest that includes everyone who belongs to Him.

Sacrifice and atonement
Sacrifice and atonement is the biblical pattern by which sin is covered and fellowship with God restored through a life given in place of the guilty. From the garments of skin in Eden and the ram in place of Isaac to the Passover lamb and the offerings of the law, the Old Testament teaches that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. The New Testament proclaims that Jesus offered Himself once for all.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God present and active among His people. He hovers over creation, fills prophets and craftsmen in the Old Testament, descends on Jesus at His baptism, is promised by Jesus as the Advocate, and comes on the church at Pentecost, giving power to witness, new birth, gifts, and fruit.

The Kingdom of God
The Kingdom of God is God's active reign, promised through Israel's prophets and announced by Jesus as having come near in Himself. Jesus taught its character in parables, displayed it in healings, and said it would grow until His return.
