Accessibility

Accessibility statement

The Gospel is for everyone, so this site has to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA on every page and to make every visual insight available without the visual.

What we commit to

  • Semantic landmarks, headings, and a skip link on every page.
  • Every control, filter, and future graph node reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus.
  • A list or table equivalent for every graph, map, and timeline.
  • No meaning conveyed by color, position, or motion alone.
  • Respect for reduced-motion settings, with no autoplay audio.
  • Text that scales to 200% without loss of content.
  • Descriptive alternative text for images and captions for any media.

Testing

Automated checks run on every change, and we test the Journey and entity pages with a keyboard and screen reader before each release. Automated tools do not catch everything, so we welcome reports.

Tell us what is not working

If any part of the site is hard to use, please contact us and describe the page and the assistive technology you use. We treat accessibility reports as bugs to fix, not feedback to file.
