Cana

Also known as Cana of Galilee, Cana in Galilee

Cana was a village in Galilee where Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding, the first of His signs in John's Gospel, and where He later healed an official's son from a distance. Nathanael was from Cana.

Why it matters. Cana is where John's Gospel says Jesus first revealed His glory and His disciples believed in Him.
