About Lebanon Valley

The Valley of Lebanon is mentioned in Joshua 11:17 and 12:7 as part of the territory conquered by Joshua during the Israelite conquest of the Promised Land. In Joshua 11:17, it is described as extending from Mount Halak to Baal-gad in the Valley of Lebanon below Mount Hermon. Joshua 12:7 lists it among the regions on the west side of the Jordan River that were allotted to the Israelite tribes.
