About Kitron
Kitron, also referred to as Kartah or Kattath, was a city located in the territory allocated to the tribe of Zebulun (Joshua 19:15). It was one of the cities given to the Levites, specifically to the Merarite clan, for their residence (Joshua 21:34). However, the tribe of Zebulun failed to drive out the Canaanite inhabitants of Kitron, and as a result, the Canaanites continued to live among them (Judges 1:30).
