About Cush
Cush, also known as Ethiopia in some translations, was a region located in the upper Nile valley, south of Egypt, in what is now modern-day Sudan and Ethiopia. The name Cush is derived from the name of one of the sons of Ham, the son of Noah (Genesis 10:6).
