About Uzzah

Uzzah was a Levite who belonged to the clan of Merari, one of the three main Levite clans. He was the son of Shimei. This Uzzah is mentioned in the genealogy of the Levites, which lists the descendants of Levi who were responsible for assisting the priests and maintaining the tabernacle and temple.
