About Sheresh
Sheresh is mentioned briefly in 1Ch.7.16 as a son of Machir and Maacah. He appears in the genealogical record of the tribe of Manasseh, which is one of the tribes of Israel. Machir, his father, was the firstborn son of Manasseh and is described as the father of Gilead.
