About Pelaliah
Pelaliah was a priest who resided in Jerusalem during the time of Nehemiah, according to Neh.11.12. He was the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah. This lineage indicates that Pelaliah belonged to a priestly family. As a priest living in Jerusalem, he would have had duties related to the temple service and worship.
