About Obadiah

Obadiah was one of the leaders who signed the covenant of faithfulness during the time of Nehemiah (Neh.10.5). The covenant was a solemn agreement made by the people of Israel to follow the Law of God and to uphold the practices of their faith. By signing the covenant, Obadiah and the other leaders demonstrated their commitment to God and their willingness to lead the people in obedience to His commands. This event took place after the completion of the walls of Jerusalem and the public reading of the Law.
