About Micah
Micah, also known as Mica, is mentioned in the genealogies of the tribe of Benjamin in the books of 1 Chronicles and 2 Samuel (1Ch.8.34,35; 9.40,41; 2Sa.9.12). He was the son of Mephibosheth, who was the son of Jonathan, King David's close friend. Mephibosheth was lame in both feet and was shown kindness by David for the sake of his father, Jonathan (2Sa.9.3-13). Micah is listed in the genealogies as a descendant of Saul, the first king of Israel, through Jonathan's line.
