Meshezabel is mentioned in the book of Nehemiah as one of the leaders who sealed the covenant with Nehemiah (Neh.10.21). After the completion of the wall of Jerusalem, the people gathered to hear Ezra read the Book of the Law. They then confessed their sins and made a covenant to follow God's laws.
