About Malluch

Malluch was a priest who lived during the time of Nehemiah. He was among the leaders who sealed the covenant between the people of Israel and God, pledging to follow the Law of Moses, keep the Sabbath holy, and support the temple service (Neh.10.4). Malluch is also mentioned in the list of priests who returned from Babylonian exile with Zerubbabel (Neh.12.2) and in the list of priestly families during the high priesthood of Joiakim (Neh.12.14).
