About Jobab
Jobab is mentioned in Gen.10.29 and 1Ch.1.23 as one of the sons of Joktan, a descendant of Shem. He is listed among the thirteen sons of Joktan in the genealogical record known as the Table of Nations. This record provides insight into the peoples and nations that descended from Noah's sons after the Flood. The descendants of Joktan are believed to have settled in the southern regions of the Arabian Peninsula.
