About Jetur
Jetur is mentioned in the genealogies of Ishmael in Gen.25.15 and 1Ch.1.31. He is listed as one of the twelve sons of Ishmael, Abraham's son by Hagar. The Ishmaelites, including Jetur and his brothers, are described as living in the region from Havilah to Shur, east of Egypt (Gen.25.18).
