About Haggi

Haggi is mentioned in Gen.46.16 and Num.26.15 as one of the sons of Gad, who was one of the twelve sons of Israel (or 'Jacob'). In the genealogy of Jacob's descendants who went to Egypt during the famine, Haggi is listed among the sons of Gad. The descendants of Haggi are referred to as the Haggites in Num.26.15, where they are counted as part of the tribe of Gad in the census taken in the wilderness.
